Timing on a Tomos Targa

Hi folks,

I have a Tomos Targa with 1585 miles on it. The manual says that I have to check the timing right about now and I was wondering if someone with experience in this procedure would be willing to lend me some of their knowledge.

They mean the ignition timing. You have to check the gap between the contact breakers when you set the flywheel at Top Dead Centre. With most peds the gap should be about 0.4 mm at TDC.
