Re: commuter frame pics
I would LOVE to paint your bike man. call me
Re: commuter frame pics
You used the stoneware texture paint? Thats a pretty cool idea. Any close-ups of the paint on your wife's?
Re: commuter frame pics
I will have some, I just have to finish my F#$% ups I made. She never painted anything, and she did not leave one run. I on the other hand, and I have painted alot and go in there like a champ and make three nasty runs that are going to be so much fun to fix.
Re: commuter frame pics
Ha yours is very clean. Mines not so clean.
Re: commuter frame pics

Re: commuter frame pics
holy monkey eating taco meat?!
it was my little bump okay?
shh, don't tell anyone, after porting the intake, I got gains from 32 mph on the flats before, not 35-37 flats now. Big Improvement.
Hate this bike has No Low End. Great for longer cruises
Re: commuter frame pics
So Here is an update.
I finally got the bike back together and took it for a couple quick test runs.
505/1a with estoril, 15.75mm intake, 15mm bing top speed of 36mph flats,
47+ down hill (absolutely burried)
Bike is running way too lean atm.
In order to fix the mix curve, I keep adjusting my choke through the powerband to get max acceleration. Running Lean by at least 25% throttle.
I have a 15mm amal, but I am saving that for my e50 or V1.
So far I am impressed at the sheer torque I am getting now since I put the bike back together. Jetting will make this bike so much smoother.
Being so lean, it really was running quite hot in mid day (86 degrees sunny conditions)
At night, the bike runs alot better, I think this is for the fact that I am not running enough tranny fluid. Anyone know how much I am supposed to put in the clutch?
Re: commuter frame pics
flush with the plug level.
Re: commuter frame pics
You pour the Type F atf into that little fill hole until it overflows. I've heard of some people tilting the bike to the side and then filling it a little more to get some extra fluid in there.
