im 14 can i get mb5 or what
It's a motorcycle.check your state laws. In north carolina if it has gears that you have to shift then it's a motorcycle. Hope this helps.
it's a scooter.
By law...Motor Driven Cycle in CA.
It's not a scooter, and it doesn't have pedals.
Motorcycle someplaces, moped in others. Depends on your state's laws
manual clutch/gearshifter + non-stepthru + big wheels
+ not a dirtbike = motorcycle.
The Ohio Revised Code defines a moped, or motorized bicycle, as any vehicle with two tandem wheels or one front and two rear wheels which is capable of being pedaled and is also equipped with a helper motor. The helper motor may not:
have a piston displacement of more than 50 cubic centimeters
produce more than one brake horsepower
propel the vehicle at a maximum speed greater than 20 mph on a level surface.
MB5 is probably a motorcycle in ohio
No, you can't. It's a motorcycle. Besides, I'm looking at that one you probably see on craigslist, seeing that we're in the same area. Let me buy it ;_;
What's the deal with MB5's anyway? With all of the 50cc motorcycles out there, what makes these stand out?
i think the short answer to that is that they're gorgeous (the black ones anyway). also, they were apparently only imported to the US for a year or two.

uhh? huh
motorcycle in michigan
You can register pretty much anything in Michigan as a moped. And yeah what are you talking about with "all of the 50cc motorcycles out there"? There really aren't any in the states :/ people didn't find them practical.
I call mine a mopedicycle....
ThAt blue Suzi is awesome Adam! Seems to me like it would be more rare than an mb5 though, at least I've never seen of around here. I assume that the mb5 gets more love because it's more common, it's a Honda, and it has a decent amount of performance upgrade optios.
No but there is only a handfull of 50s that shift. I think one of the more popular bikes in the past was the mb5 and they still are today. second seems to be maybe an ar80. other than that, not too many mentions on here.
I would rather have a dt50

this made my day
In CT MOPED.
I don't know, I saw one today, and chased him down, cool bikes, I would call it a motorcycle.
50 cc motorcycle
I was thinking a little more about this when I excitedly told my non moped riding friend I saw an mb5 today. He was like, whats that? I told him its like if a moped and an 80s motorcycle had a kid, and the motorcycle was a good father to it.
I had an MB5 and an RX50. I vote RX50 any day.
MB5's are dogs. That RX50 would smoke it and is shares alot of stuff with YSR's.
MB5 is definitely still a motorcycle TECHNICALLY in CT.
This is solely due to it's HP output. Either way, I ride mine like a moped and if anyone asks it's 49cc... of course it's a moped.
