Re: Gloria Intramotor Scout

Meg,

Son in law just bought a house and lo and behold burried in the back of the garage is a 1977 Intramotor Gloria Scout SN:00750. Told him I try to find out about it and maybe haul it home and see if I can get it running. Not amechanic just tinker. Looked like you had an owners manual, any thoughts on finding another or can you scan and email?

This thing does not look like it has been run in a while but might be a fun rig to take camping and the like. A couple of items looked like these collapse for transport or storage?

Any way, I'd be interested in any info you may have or sites for parts etc.

Thanks

Re: Gloria Intramotor Scout

2 stroke, normally a Franco Morini engine. 4 oz 2 cycle oil to a gallon (US) of gas.

Nice mopeds.

Re: Gloria Intramotor Scout

4oz of oil to 2 gallons is leaner than 50:1. Not a good idea, generally.

Re: Gloria Intramotor Scout

This post is old. She knows now. The guy "divertate" is looking for a manual.

Re: Gloria Intramotor Scout

Throw a fuel line filter on there and mix 50:1 (20:1 is SUPER rich). 50:1 is: 2.6 ounces of 2-stroke oil to 1 gallon of gasoline. here is a handy calculator:

Re: Gloria Intramotor Scout
