That’s a Cady. Interesting bike with the stacked magneto and clutch. Parts are more difficult to come by and essentially zero potential for upgrades, not that you would want it to go fast on a full rigid bike.

Thank you for the help if you know where I can get parts please let me know
Another question is the Vin above the front forks on the left or is it behind the pedals gear because I have numbers in both those places and they’re two different numbers the one above the forks has a box with a V before the numbers and a box with an M after the numbers
Hi.
I know photos help identify but all I have is a frame an telescopic forks with covers on.
Frame number is on the left rear end of the stay.
48052836.
Any ideas?
I’m guessing AV48
The frame came with a Raleigh RM9 and is incredibly similar apart from the sliding rear dropout plates on this.
Thanks
Oh and little headlight ears for a square light I guess
I always wanted a Moby, but was never able to find one. My first moped in 1975 was a Peugeot, which is fairly similar. Not all mopeds have those black and silver plates that are just stuck on, at least used ones. Some just have the VIN stamped into the frame somewhere. I've had 3 or 4 of them like that. Also common for moped VINs to be all numbers, while car and motorcycle VINs always have some letters.
Model 50v.
Is that called a “Moby”? Or is “50V” the actual model name?
I’m a motorcycle guy. So for example, depending on the year a Honda CB750 from the last 90’s is also called a Nighthawk.
Is there a name for a 50V?
And thank you! I’ll likely be on here a bunch asking stupid questions. 😀
