Re: Seize of The Century (pics included)

you didnt even smear the piston over the rings

Re: Seize of The Century (pics included)

that's not even bad....

Re: Seize of The Century (pics included)

Mike Mccaughan /

at least you went out in style

Re: Seize of The Century (pics included)

That isn't bad at all. Pop off the rings, sand down the piston a little and run it. Isn't that a stock piston?? lol

Re: Seize of The Century (pics included)

I would run it.

If thats the worst seize you have this century then count yourself lucky.

I have seen some pretty gruesome seize carnage and that is really more of an owwy.

Re: Seize of The Century (pics included)

Iron stock cylinder : 1

Stock aluminum piston : 0

Re: Seize of The Century (pics included)

it smeared worse on the other side and its kinda hard to see in the pic but there is some deep grooves cut in the side of the piston

Re: Seize of The Century (pics included)

My polini had a chunk come out of the top of the crown above the ring. Blasting then nothing. No compression, nothing. Until you break something and have little pieces of it rattling around in your engine, NBD.

Re: Seize of The Century (pics included)

thoroughly disappointed by this seize

***VANILLA BLUNDER*** /

where is the picture of someones circlip that blasted all the way up the piston through the rings? now THAT was a sieze

Re: Seize of The Century (pics included)

had a 406 ATK dirtbike do that before blew chunks of piston straight out the tailpipe

seized, sanded and ran so many times the aluminum just got so brittle it shattered the skirt. Made a gremlin bell out of it.

Re: Seize of The Century (pics included)

one more try

A piston without its skirt is very arousing!

Re: Seize of The Century (pics included)

A rouge circlip did this carnage.

Re: Seize of The Century (pics included)

Re: Seize of The Century (pics included)

Damn Gina.

This is the god hates Tate seize.

This one looks like someone failed to learn how to draw a 3-D cylinder.

It was this scooter I was on my way to go show and likely sell and the fucking needle bearing exploded. Its better that it exploded on me that right after I sold it but it would have been even better if it never exploded.

There was all kinds of shrapnel embedded in the top of the piston.

When I pulled the cylinder to kit it I decided I might was well grill black the exhaust dince it was already off.

I could play that thing like a maraca.

Dean, that bat on your profile has to be the sickest one I have ever seen. Brilliant! What's the setup on that?

Lees engine, ouch, must've felt that when that tore through the case, holy fuck.

I do love me some carnage thread.
