So i wake up to go get breakfast at the bulldog cafeteria and my moped which is usually chained up to the bike rack is gone! I go to thaddeus stevens college of technology and some mothefucker stole my tomos targa lx........
a red one..kitted and everything.....
Take your vin no. and picture and make a police report immediately.
cruise around the neighborhood looking in alleys, back yards, etc...
put the word out with any local moped repair shops...
hopefully a college of technology has a camera that you can take a look at to see what direction the thief may have ridden away towards- which is home.

if you don't get it back in a few days, then definitely call the local impound lot. there is a huge chance that it ends up there. hope you get it back man.
Impound lot: visit weekly.
Put ads in craigslist advertising it was stolen in the wanted an motorcycle for sale column.
Put out flyers in the local coffee shops, college dorms.. whatever.
Be patient,, it may take a few weeks to show up..
Also all readers should take photoes of their bikes, and record the vin, frame and engine nos. in their records.. the police will need those infos when your bikes inevitably get stolen.

"Records"? LOL! but yeah, that is an excellent idea. I have all that....somewhere, need to be better organized. Police report, impound lot, cams and intensive hard target search of every hen house, chicken coop back alley etc within a 5-10 mile radius. Find a local scketchy looking type and offer a reward for the bike, no honor among thieves. Best of luck with your recovery.
there have been a lot of moped thefts in lancaster lately. i'm pretty sure if you take it to the cops they will take it very seriously. especially if its titled and registered. go to them with as much info as you can.
