OT, but thanx for all the hard work you've been putting in on this. i've always felt like i've gotten my money's worth from the MA site, and now is no exception.

When I tried to post in the buy sell forum, it initially rejected my post and said something about a hacker? I tired again, and it worked. It's probably nothing though.

i figured out that if you take too long to post, the system will log you out. since i have a tendency to be a bit long winded (!), i copy and save my posts before i post them. this way, if i get logged off, i can just log in and paste my tl;dr post.

When I come to the site it shows me as logged in on the top right hand side of the screen but I am not actually logged in(so now flat view or reply). I have to press sign out and sign back in. If it helps I did press the "remember me" box and I am on a mac using firefox. and great job on the site, it looks fantastic and the new features are awsome and very helpful.

I may as well repost some of the thoughts I've had here. I think I may have emailed you [Simon] with some as well, but I may as well summarize in one place. Most of these are not so much bugs as much as suggestions.

• Having the 'list' feature of BBCode enabled would be handy and not likely to be abused, but I suppose the bullet character I'm using here would be fine.

• Unicode characters used in 'first name' & 'last name' fields display correctly in the forums, but not in the 'profile' page after saving.

• A 'skip to last page' link on the thread list page for threads which have moved over into more than one page of replies would save time and site traffic. I see that by clicking the 'Last Post' link, you can do this already, but that's not clear to most people I feel.

• There's my calendar idea found here.

• Remove the subject field from replies, as well as move the poster information into the same gray bar as the actions (report, reply) links.

• The 'Go to Top' link is redundant, as it is the same as clicking the name of the forum category you are in which is found just above it.

• The 'Go to Topic' link is redundant, as it is the same as clicking the '1' link. Obviously not a big deal, but more open screen space is always a good thing.

• I don't remember if the 'Most Recent Poster' data is available to the template, but it could be neat to have the 'alt' tag of the 'Last Post' link contain the name of who most recently posted, so it could be moused-over.

• Maybe move the 'Private Messages' link to the user area ('logged in as ___ | logout') as it doesn't really pertain to the forum you are currently viewing.

• When a video is embedded into a post, the dropdown menu's (longer ones like 'branches' for example) are under the video. I think this can be fixed by playing with the z-index of the embedded videos.

• Previewing a post, one's username is not displayed in the parenthesis, but an image with an invalid src and href is displayed.

• Perhaps the edit box could take up the full width of the horizontal white area, and maybe even increase its font size.

haven't been able to upload any of my jpg files. i get some error message, is there a size limit on files? I've tried changing photos in my profile as well as posting on forums.

and as i mentioned via e-mail, i am getting shuttled to blank pages when trying to view photos from older threads.

Wiki is rendering funny in Chrome. No problems in IE, didn't test in Firefox

After the upgrade it automatically switched my profile picture to a different picture in my files (kinda freaky that it can go into my files like that). My concern is that, I have other pictures that I don't want people to see that you GUYS don't want to see. Well, maybe a few but I think that vast majority of men here don't wanna see my man all naked. I'm worried it might start showing a nudie of my man at random times in the future.

I've tried changing it but it stays as is.

Thats pretty strange cuz when I click the file I was to upload for my pic it chooses a picture thats several rows above the one i'm clicking. But, if you click my profile pic (of me in a black shirt) it opens to the profile pic I attempted to upload (white shirt). So yeah. Not sure how I feel about this.

But it's not up to mopedarmy to decide which picture to upload; that's all about your particular web browser.

I don't know what to tell you. If I click a picture to upload, I expect it to be the picture that gets uploaded. Its only on this site.

im also having the profile pic issue, it reverted to old pics that i uploaded in the past. i try and upload new ones (jpg under 2mb) but they always stay the same. tried safari and chrome. i also like my display name on topics to be my username, rather than my "real name" as in my profile, but thats more of a suggestion than a bug.

Ok, if it's not over 2MB then we have a problem. Can you email me a copy of the image so I can test if it's the specific image? Does it give you an error message? What browser are you running?

OK. I'm logged in reading this bug thread. I click on Erica S's handle -

(deadend_cruiser). That takes me to "Forum Profile for: (Erica S. / deadend_cruiser). Which says her e-mail is HIDDEN.

I click on the red "deadend_cruiser" link. I CAN see her e-mail address. Should be hidden, yes??

Under the picture is a box "edit profile". I click that and it takes me to edit MY profile. I would think I should never see the edit profile box except when I'm on MY profile. Yes?
