The last one I did was way to easy, this one is far harder. I would say that it's like a velosolex with rear wheel drive, but as you can see it's belt driven. Give it your best guess!
Never mind, posted the answer to another mystery moped that I guess I'm not going to be able to use anymore... (makes a man feel smart)
Here's the actual 3rd mystery moped.
As for the one I just blew, that's a cyclaid (pronounced cycle-aid) which was belt drive to the rear wheel, and the first ones didn't have a clutch, so you were either moving or not. It's another one of those British machines.
Ryan,
BSA Winged Wheel. My Dad had one.
Btw, on the Cyclemaster, which happens to have been my first powered transportation, any explaination of the gas tank behind the seat?
Ron
What appears to be a gas tank actually isn't- it's supposed to be a tool box. That particular cyclemaster was one of the complete bikes which apparently came with them.
Ryan,
That's amazing, a box that size could hold enough tools to field strip a Hummer.
Another good question is, how the hell do you get into it? It seems to be built under the carrier and blocked at both ends.
Btw, was BSA Winged Wheel correct?
Ron
Yes BSA was correct, looks like I'm going to have to dig up some of the really rare makes.
it has a petcock and fuel line coming out the bottom plus a filler cap on top. I think it's a gas tank not a tool kit! :)
Don, are you talking about the cyclemaster or the BSA?
