Yeah it probably will...I've never tried one from a lawnmower... but I've adapted ones from motorcycles.......But the problem is not usually the coil..... it's the points ...they are usually dirty or misadjusted.

No i have power to my coil its just that the coil dosnt want to put out juice!!!!!!!
