i have decided to restore a 1980 motobecane 51v (that i WAS going to part out...) any info about this moped (diagrams, spec sheet, manual, etc..) would be appreciated!
also, any info on compatibility with other motobecane models parts... any other names for the 51v? is this even the right name? i cant seem to find any info on the internet for it... thanks!

someone is selling me a COMPLETE 1980 51v this weekend... needs only minor cosmetic repair. so i guess i WILL be parting that one out afterall....

hey chad! good news, i picked up that other motobecane today.. and i think im gonna have some left over parts.. (like an engine! haha)... email me what you need again, and as soon as i get one running (they are BOTH kinda rough), ill hook you up with the surplus.. =]

LOL, Why, did we become enemies when I was not paying attention? I am just looking to get the engine and exhaust, you can use delorto SHA 1412 carb on the 51V. Let me know what extras you have. Where did you manage to scrounge up another 51v? lol
