I have a moped that was made during the 1970's called the Odyssey. It was made in Germany by a company called Solo Kleinmotoren GMBH, which is still in business making lawnmowers, chainsaws, etc. I have not been able to find any information about this company's mopeds. Any info at all would be appreciated. Is there anyone else that owns one of these??????
We don't have any mention of that moped on our site, could you submit a photo of it for our gallery? maybe with a phot, we might be able to figure out its origins.

My dad had a brand new solo in the eighties and he said it would conk out all the time. He said that he had to clean the spark plug alot, but maybe he didn't have the right mixture.
I saw one when they were new. it was very nice and was pretty fast too. My Allstate would do 35-40 mph on level ground, and I couldn't catch up to him to get a better look. when I finally gave up after 10 minutes he was just as far away as when I started to follow him! Fix it up if you can, it should be a real gem!
I contacted this company via the website about my solo electra, they were very helpful and even sent me an owners manual that I could download.
Wonder if everyone that had these 12 years ago still have them.
