MB5 doesnt sputter with new plug??

Well, despite that fact that it runs, im getting a new cylinder anyway, cuz 60 psi is bad. However, today i put ANOther new plug in ( same type as last weeek) and i got the same results. The mb5 runs just fine. Replacing the plug every 2 days seems to fix the problem, but obviously thats not the solution. WTF?? am i burning up the plug or something?? I'm using a Denso W24FS-U. The manual says to use a BR9HS for high speed, or a BR8HS for low speed. Someone got an idea?

Re: MB5 doesnt sputter with new plug??

my honda pa50II wouldnt run for crap with a Denso plug in it... i switched back to the NGK and its perfect... maybe you could try a different brand of plug??

Re: MB5 doesnt sputter with new plug??

i have heard about the hondas doing that with non-NGk Plugs. ill see if i can get the NGK plug. Only thing is, thats what was originally in it. And it died too. however it looked really beat, and was probably in need of a change.

Re: MB5 doesnt sputter with new plug??

Hey man.. go get a bosch w8ac or a short thread bosch marine plug. the w8ac plug is a generic moped plug and is less then a buck at autozone and napa.
