how much is my ped worth?

hey,

its been a few weeks since i have posted on the board, but i think the time has come for me to sell my moped and buy my dream car (92 metalic blue mustang gt) and i still dont have enough money to buy one yet so i am going to sell my ped, i am wondering how much its worth. its a 87 tomos goldenbullet lx, its black and has new piston and rings, new coil, new points and condersor and it has 3300 miles and it has a bi turbo pipe and i have 26 and 35 tooth front sprokets for it.

any ideas on how much its worth?

Ree's the `Tomos appraiser' here.I have a `Golden Bullet',but it hasn't any extras except of course,gold mags and turn signals.It's awful pretty.If yours runs really good,you probably shouldn't take less than 475.00.BUT I might be way off,too.

i have a picture that was taken befor all the work was dont to it, it looks exactly like the picture except it naw has a biturbo pipe. i dont have a pic of it right now because its at my moms house but i am picking it up there tomarrow so i will take some pics on mondya or tuesday

WOW ! That'll sure up the Ante! Why don't you keep it and try to get a small loan;even from an uncle or cousin or somebody?You're gonna hate yourself when that car breaks down and you ain't got a `ped.Just ask Ree.He's posted about hating cars before.OR sell something else?

i kinda lost intrest in my ped thats why i was selling it and i need money for my car. as for it breaking down i am set because my dad owns a mustang performance shop so i get all my mod work done for free which is a plus

If you have to buy your own gasoline,you might gain that interest back in that `ped.But that's great you've got a Dad to depend on like that.My Dad was a schoolteacher,and if you had a problem with schoolwork,he'd help you ace it.But cars?No clue.

i don't like tomos. i'll take $50 and i'll be willing to take it from you. ;-)

sorry for the sarcasm ... but mopeds are only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. my bianchi is worth whatever you're willing to offer ... plus another $1 on top (ad infinitum).

This time of year its hard to sell peds or motorcycles or boats... etc.

If you could get $400 now... you could get $550 next spring

If you live in Florida or Southern Texas or SoCal... disregard what I just said

$495.00

With mods, I would estimate + $70 for the Biturbo, +$12ea for Sprockets.

That comes to $589.00 (USD)

I would ask a straight-up $600 for it, but also remember seasonal pricing, as Fred said....they go for around 85% of Blue Book out of season, remember.
