Hey, does anyone have one of the Lambretta mopeds? They made a noped or a moped for a few years. It was I believe right before the Italian version went under (they are still made in India (scooters that is))
I had seen one fo rsale last year but haven't seen one since.

The greatest moped has got to be the Zundapp or the Vespa--- both are hot looking solid machines

I have a Lambretta J50. It's for sale if your interested. They are nice bikes, but Lambretta should have never tried to compete with Vespa by copying their signiture look. Cheers.

i think the best moped in the world is yours. the one you spent hours working on. the one you get nervous about when friends take it for a spin. but you let them because you are so proud of her. the one you sing to while you ride. the one that treats you well most of the time ... but keeps you on your toes. the one you maintain as well as you can. the one you spend hours working on.
for me ... that's a certain 1977 bianchi snark eagle deluxe named "lucia". she's beautiful.

i just woo her in italian ... so make up songs as i go along ... love of "ciao bella" and "mi amore"

..........if it ain't a top-tank,LIKE THE MOTOBECANE Sebring,with beautiful paint and decals,and sporting the Franco-Morini 2-speed(MO2) engine with heavy-duty blood coursing thru it's veins,then it's not THE MOPED of the century.I vote the SEBRING !!
