I just picked up XP Pro today for 10bucks at college.... ( we have a deal with MS... they sell everything to us for 5bucks per cd)...
It doesn't seem to bad yet.... I'm sure I'll notice some things later on, and it isn't linux, but it is definatly better than ME.
