My brother just brought me a Motobecane Mobilette to restore.
When I compaired the engine with some pictures on The Moped Junkyard, it seems that it has a
Dimoby <> Variator

Hi,
I have both types of clutches, but the Variator is on the crank of an older motor and I don't have the tool to remove it (believe me, I've tried).
I've looked at both clutches, and I'm certain they will interchange. I'm going to have to settle for the Dimoby on my ride. The Variator I'm sure will allow the moped to run faster, but I don't know how much difference there would be.
