<HTML>Check the easy stuff first. Is the decompressor spring collapsed? Next check to see if the head gasket leaks by having someone crank the motor while you listen for a hiss at the head.
Next is to finally pull the cylinder and see if a piston ring broke. </HTML>
<HTML>A moped doesn't lose compression suddenly on it's own. Check the decomp cable (too tight), head nuts (one too loose or stripped), or scratched rings from running without oil in the gas.</HTML>
