is it bad to put a hiperformance air filter on a tomos sprint and what can i do to my bike to make it "go faster" i have a bi turbo nad dont want a 27 tooth sprocket. can i do something to the carb?

Unless the air fuel mexture is not correct a high performance air filter will not give you any speed or accelation increase. It may however give you better air filtration.

Actully i think that a uni or K and N foam air filter will give you better peformence if properly jetted, it would allow more air into the carb and still filter it. You would need to jet it a few up to richen the mixture alittle though. Also it would make the most out of that biturbo.
Matt has the correct answer.
"hi performance" air filters are hi performance because they flow more air...not because they filter better.
But will likely require re-jetting.
yah what kind of jet should i put on?
My point being that if the moped were tuned optimally and runnign at the proper stoichiometric rate, installing a higher flow flilter would not cause it to run faster. IMHO Too many people are of the impression that you can keep jetting up as long as you continue to add air.
We have a saying at our shop Biger isn't better, it's just bigger.
