Anyone have any suggestions on tuning up a Bing carb, like making adjustments and that kind of stuff? Mine has never been messed with in all these years ( 1978 Puch Maxi)...
I did replace the float, the float needle, and the float bowl gasket on it last fall... It runs ok, but I know it could use some tuning. Anyone out there have some jets they want to sell?
If you haven't modified the engine radically, the only adjustment you need make is to the slide needle and idle. If you screw around with the exhaust or intake and make it breath better you'll have to go up to the next larger main jet.
I did add a Biturbo... I already knew about going up with the jet. Anything else I should do?
No, just adjust the main jet needle till it runs clean and the plugs brown.
