I just bought a 97 targa lx for 100 bucks(not running), got it running in a day after cleaning the carb(that thing was a pain in the ass to get to) and changin the plug and unclogging the exhaust pipe. i need to know what kind of tranny oil and injector oil i need to buy. id like to go with synthetic for both if possible. THANKS IN ADVANCE!
P.S Where can i find a wiring diagram for it?

Transmission oil - you can either use ATF or 10w30/10w40 straight motor oil.
Capacity is 220cc (aka 220ml)
Injector oil, two stroke outboard works fine...synthetic is not required nor makes much performance or wear difference.

We use Type F automatic trans fluid in the trans and Klotz brand syntetic for the oil injection system.

you have to use type F automatic transmission fluid 10w 40 will mess up the trans and make it go slower and run hotter. you can but any 2 stroke oil in the oil bottle but 100% sythetic is the best it cuts down on the so smoke and carbon about half or three quarters and makes it run bettter and smother for longer
For the Record - Tomos Specifications State Dexron III type trans fluid.
I've gotten poor performance from it, however.
