"I just bought a 1978 Puch Maxi with 1078 miles on the odometer. It sat in the back of this lady's garage since 1982.The paint looks like new but the chrome needs cleaning up a bit. It even has some cool Puch leather saddlebags. Anyway, after a Saturday of cleaning the carb and flushing the gas tank I got it started and it seems to run fine. My question is - what are the rules of the road for a moped? Do you need a motorcycle license? Do you need license tags, inspection, and insurance? "
