I just got one of these, i'm told it's spanish built and it seems rare. I need to know what kind of engine it has, if perhaps it could be a peugeot engine or something for which i could actually get a piston or rings if i need them?

post some pics of it. also, check the engine to see what it says. it shoul say on it. but post pics so that someone can help you out. i've never heard of torrot.

Based on a Peugeot 103V engine block, this racy little number hails from Spain and if possible, it's even faster than its French cousin.

You can probably order them from Handy Bikes if you ask for B.J.(614-299-0550).Looks like a Motobecane engine and muffler.Thought I'd thrown B.J. a curve the other day when I asked for a special pedal arm for a MO2 Franco-Morini engine,`cause they're shaped for further clearance and regular Francos won't fit.He sent the right one out in the mail and I got it 2 days ago.Fits perfectly!
