thats an idea how are they hard to get of if i need to do repairs to lvers or bars?

Re: my grips slide off

they will be hard to remove, but if you wedge a screwdriver into the end and spray some solvent inside, they'll come off.

Re: my grips slide off

A tip for keeping on grips i learned while in a bicycle shop is easy and painless... Skip the cement. Get some cheap hair spray. Spray some into the grip until it is nicely wet, slide on the grip to the bar. Wait about 20 minutes to an hour and they will be stuck on there. When time comes later on to change the grip again use a box knife and cut the grip.

the hair spray works good, not as good as contact cement tho. you dont need to cut the grip off with hairspray tho. water works fine. thats where the contact cement beats it. they will get loose in a rain storm.

Re: my grips slide off

Hairspray works wonders, just spray the inside of the handle grip and slip them on and let it sit. The spray gives it lubrication to go on easy. Also comes off easy with a screwdriver and some wd40.
