Does this 30 post long thread boil down to a replaced plug, or were the other suggestions also a part of the fix?
Just curious--- I'll remember to replace my plug before doing any troubleshooting.

You got that right. My guess is that the original problem was solved by carb cleaning but the plug was fouled by then.
Where the hell was Fred "use a new plug" when I needed him!

Hey,Ron! Let's start all our posts out with `REPLACE SPARK PLUG' ! If a guy says:` I was riding down the street and I think I fell off my `ped. We'll answer: Well,you idgit,did you replace the spark plug first?
