here is the deal with the sprockets. if
you increase the number of teeth on the
countershaft sprocket(from the engine) it will make the moped accelerate quicker but
top speed will be slower. if you decrease
the countershaft sprocket teeth number you
will make the moped slower off the line but
overall top speed will be faster. the best
way is to increase the countershaft teeth
and reduce the rear wheel sprocket teeth.
its less expensive just to mess with the
its also better to buy a complete kit if
you are going to modify the moped. the kit
should come with jets for the carb to make the mixture richer.
use 92 octane gas and the best two-stroke
oil you can get. go to a motorcycle shop and
ask the counter guy. on my mopeds i run it at 50/1 or 1 ounce or 30cc to 1/3 gallon gas
