I was wondering if anyone owned a Sundiro Scooter and how they like it. The price seems right (low) but how do the scooters hold up ?

Hi,Charles! They look cheap to me,but I'm an old fogey. How `bout spendin' that dough on an Avanti Autopower or Tomos Top-tank? They've got bigger wheels for a smoother ride and they might even cost a little less.Plus ,I don't think in most states you have to have a motorcycle endorsement on your driver's license, which is a small hassle.BYE!
We are cruisers on our sailboat and keep two Mantis 1's in bags on deck, breaking out the mopeds when we get to a new port. Both have just short of three thousand miles on them without failure save the following.. one coil, one set spark plugs, remove boil and replace carb's on both units. Except for the replacement parts required after my wife who was behind me failed to stop window shopping and notice that I had stopped ahead for a red light.

Mike, tell me more about the Mantis. I liked the freaky insect look, but I was told they were 'junk'. You sound happy with them...!
Cool. The shops near us sell only Kymko or some lame Honda rip-offs. NOBODY sells a freaking chain drive, and even the local dealers can't tell "moped Styling" from "scooter styling".
Oh well. Glad your bikes work well~!.
