Re: FLANDRIA MOPED

I thought his English was pretty good for a guy from Quebec.

Re: FLANDRIA MOPED

Hey derek, english isn't everyone's first language, assface. Not everyone's from the wonderful US of A. There are other countries where other languages are spoken, you ignorant fuck. And maybe it's you that needs to learn english, you seem to be the only imbecile that didn't understand what Alain was saying, and I think most people will agree that his post made more sense than your "It cists 400 dollers" bullshit. Go Fuck Yourself and your "400 doller pint".

Re: FLANDRIA MOPED

I see they have a lot of stupid people in this forum. I dont care, but english is not the only one i understand stupid !

I don't care how good or bad yer english is as long as I can understand the question...what's it matter ?

Mosta you folks have heard me in person...and while english may be the only thing I speak..it's, well..passable, at best, and I LIVE here, so bah! to that.

Anyhow, that Flandria might be a puch engine, I am not sure.

Did you try matching it up by engine type at mopedjunkyard.com ?

If you can tell me what kind of engine's mounted to it...I can maybe tell you what it is....and you'll know what parts are out for it.

Al,

Don't sweat it. I was trying to be gentle with Derek and point out the error of hie ways. Some others here are a little more vocal, but I gess you have the majority on your side.

Keep posting, we will keep answering.

Re: FLANDRIA MOPED

Assface? Hahahaha. How old are you? Three?

Re: FLANDRIA MOPED

I also have a flandria!

It is a brand from belgium.

In the 1960's and 1970's these bikes where about the best (fastest) you could get!

In the beginning of the 1980's they went bankrupt.

Nowadays parts are quite difficult to find (even in Belgium and the Netherland) . So you are probably forced to do some improvisations if you have to repair it one day.

But I doubt that this will happen as they are very good.

If you need a new carb, have a look at those of BING. They will probably fit best.

I worked a little on my Flandria (without spending too much money on it) and now I get a speed of up to 30mph. This represents an increase of 30%. Almost every part in the engine is original (I only replaced the piston rings).

A picture of my Flandria at: http://www.omega.lu/users/p107/OtherBikes/FlandRight.jpg

That's it!
