Anyone make a lockable trunk for QT50?

Hi - I have two QT50s that I bought a couple weeks ago, and love them. I am commuting to work on one, bringing odd looks from my neighbors, but who can argue with a week of commuting for 60-70 cents?

Anyway, I would love to find a lockable trunk to go on the rear rack. Does anyone make one, or is there another brand or application that will work? I'm still a scooter newbie, so any help would be great!

Thanks

Craig

a company called EMGO does... but it is a universal trunk... and you would have to figure the mounts yourself.

You can get it from a motorcycle shop.. they would have to order it.

Here's a picture of it-- a very nice trunk.

Thanks! If anyone else has any leads, I'd appreciate it.

I was thinking about the same thing...

A friend suggested goiing down to the local Army/Navy surplus store, and getting a old artilery/ammo box, a padlock, and a couple U bolts.

Use your imagination McGyver.... :)Craig wrote:

That might work just as a storage/transport box, but I'm looking for something I could lock my helmet in as well. There are lots of possibilities, but I was looking for something ready-made, since I have enough other projects already! :^|

Good idea on the ammo box, though.
