Re: gas leakage??????

"to fix a gas tank leakage you have to empty all of the gas out and pinpoint exactly where the leak is. Then you can purchase sealant to be placed into the tank. You have to position the bike so that the sealant will settle to where the leak is. This should solve the problem. I would also suggest cleaning out the gas tank while you are at it.

: i have a batavus and it leaks gas from gas tank. i checked all the connections and i they were all in place, with no holes in them. i think it is leaking from the gas tank but i'm not sure. RE: gas leakage??????

If everything is fitting together properly then your gas tank may have rusted from the inside. There is a chemical repair that will coat the inside of the tank and end the leak (if there is enough metal left on the tank)
