Had a little run in with the curb yesterday. A sweet dear old lady cut me off. She appologized and said she thought she had more room than she did. I will give her credit for being honest. Problem is I hit the bottem of the crankcase on the curb. It knocked my clutch nut loose (again!!!) and the lights went out. Rebuilt the clutch (again!!!) and I checked out the magmeto. Everything looks good and she runs well (for now!!!) but the bloody lights won't come back. I'm wondering if I damaged the coils or something. I traced back all the wiring and it seems good. Even tested the bulbs and they're fine. I can't get the magnet housing off the magneto assembly to check in greater detail. It has a large thread running inside around the shaft. Does the housing screw on\off or do I need a puller? If it screws off, is it a forward or revered thread? I'm soooo dissapointed. I only got to ride into work twice before this happened. I have GOT to get back on my own two wheels.
