In 2 weeks my dad is bringing me a Spree 50cc from the mid to late 80's that has a problem with the torque converter or something. He says it runs fine, and that if you get it up to speed it's perfect, but during the initial acceleration it barely moves and it "sounds as if someone's hitting it with a hammer." He seems to think it's something in the torque converter. I really don't know anything about mopeds in general but he has this one and is letting me have it to see if I can work it out. So, ANY help would be very much appreciated. Thanks very much.
