Transmission fluid

Most mopeds use either type A or F Automatic transmission fluid (ATF), or a specific oil weight which will be specified by the manual. Special transmission oils are also available. Type F and specific weights of oil can typically be found at any auto parts stores. Type A is more difficult to find, although it crops up most often less-than-obvious places, like gas stations, truck stops, or grocery stores. When possible, use non-detergent oil.
