Monark

Monark, a manufacturer of bicycles and motorcycles that, like Husqvarna, Crescent, and many others Swedish manufacturers, created their first moped according to a new law passed in 1952. Their "Monarped" was very much like a motorcycle because it had the tank in the "right" position and a telescopic front suspension. Monark most often used Ilo engines, but Pilot, NSU and Husqvarna (more?) were also used.

The name Monark was used several years after 1963 when Monark, Crescent, and Husqvarna joined in MCB. However, in the period 1963-1968 almost all models used Husqvarna's E-engine.
