Making their debut ride in June 2009, Las Tortugas are a moped club in Tucson, AZ. They meet most every Sunday at Shot-in-the-Dark Cafe for a weekly ride. Times vary as seasons change. The ride is open to all moped enthusiasts. There is also an active website that hosts an online moped community, which is open to the moped public in all geographic locations.

Two-stroke mayhem in the desert. No bullshit politics, no attitudes, no posers--just a bunch o' pedal-started fun.

At the time of this writing, there are 13 official members. Members' ages vary from 20-something to 60-something, with all points in between.

Las Tortugas encourages any of their moped brethren living in or visiting the Tucson area to contact them via their Facebook page, or their website.
