JCPenney Pinto

The JCPenney Pinto was a moped imported by JCPenney from the Austrian manufacturer Kromag. Pintos have the 1-speed Puch E50 engine. Owners of the Pinto will find the Puch repair manual from '80/'81 to have matching engine, wiring, carburetor, and timing settings information. Fans of the Pinto applaud that it is "solid and lightweight." Manufactured 1977 through 1980, the 1978 Pinto II with mag wheels was recalled for faulty brakes.
