Idle speed screw

From MopedWiki

Jump to: navigation, search

The idle speed screw is an external screw found on a carburetor that usually is secured from vibration by a spring. This screw limits how far the throttle is able to close and thus controlling the idle speed. The screw often acts directly against the throttle slide, but on a butterfly throttle it may act on the throttle lever instead.
