In the spring of 2001, a group of Cincinnatians who knew each other through skateboarding and the local music scene decided to get mopeds. In no time, they were neck-deep in parts bikes and covered in chain grease. Before year's end, they had joined the Moped Army, adopting the name The Bombardment Society, frequently referred to as "TBS" or "The Most Attractive Branch in the Moped Army."
In the more than five years since, TBS has hosted rallies, swarmed at rallies across the country, and adopted new members. Each new rider brings his or her own style to the branch, but TBS remains what it always has been: a group of friends, united by a love of the open road – experienced at about 30 m.p.h.
Our branch is older than your branch, unless you're a Decepticon. Y'all better ask somebody.
