For many runners strength training or other workouts like insanity can be frustrating. If you are in the middle of a training cycle, heading to the gym to get in ANOTHER workout can be time consuming and easy to put off. As well all know weights and strength training play a big role in keep you healthy and injury free. It isnât something that should be put on the back burner. To avoid skipping, try these easy exercises that are important for runners and that can be done in your home.
The move itself is very simple: stand with your back against a wall, placing your feet 2 feet in front of you and hip width apart. Lower your body down to a squat position where your knees are at a 90 degree angle. Hold for as long as you can focusing on engaging your core.
