I started build an electric motorcycle prototype in 1986. I built an aerodynamic fairing to hold batteries and streamline the bike. Without a motor, the speed of 55 MPH has been acheived, due to the coefficient of Drag area being below 0.36. The ladies model of the vehicle features a step thru frame designed by Mellisa Manning in 1991. Although the prototype could go 55 MPH , laws require speed governors so you will never see the speed in production.
