Having a bit of a nightmare with my Kymco. Used to ride a GP 100 and had a bundle of fun melting pistons on it. I manage to blow pretty little holes in two of the things. I sold it to someone with a nice new barrel and piston just fitted.Have had a Kymco ZX50 for about a year now but havent got to use it much yet.
It usedf to belong to a boy racer and was thrashed within an inch of its life. It was always a poor starter as it had vitually no compression but had been fully derestricted and still did 45 mph or so. I didnt use it for a month or so over the summer and it rewarded my inattention by seizing solid! Saving up for a new rebore and new piston. This goes so much against the grain though as my spares usually come from the dump or a scrappy!
