Don't know the EXACT reason, but I sure do want a 'ped. Had a little black hairdryer (Elite 50) and a collar-bone shattering "motorcycle" (Passport 70) with a questionable transmission in college. I wish I still had either, even the plastic would be fine by me. But I don't. I'd love to have a Puch or Tomos. There are problems to my desire though. To get to work from home, I would have to travel one of 3 bridges, with speed limits of 50-65 MPH - not very moped friendly, but that's what the WRX is for.
