I got into mopeds around 11th grade. I inherited my moms 1980 Garelli Rally Sport. I rode it for about a year and it broke down. I put it away for the winter, and got it back out in the spring to work on it, or at least try to attempt to get it running again. I was by myself, all I could do was figure it out on my own and use the selective amounts of material thats on the internet. Eventually, after taking the carburetor apart enough to reassemble it blindfolded, I got the moped running like a champ. Two years later I'm still lovin the garelli and have accumulated a few more peds. I enjoy working on them, smashing my fingers (ouch, bloodblisters and loosing fingernails) tuning them, cleaning them, learning about them, and most of all riding them. Mopeds aren't just a "phase" for me, I'm a Mo-Pagan.
