I am a college student a West Virginia University and the reason I purchased my moped is because I like old things and also for the fuel economy when spring rolls around. I have another back home that I don't know much about that is also a Motobecane, and I will likely try and get it repaired. I record noisy folk/pop songs with a variety of instruments, guitar, steel guitar, banjo, drums, piano, using a child's cassette recorder and a tape deck for recording the piano and other instruments I do not have at home and good mics/mixer/computer for the other stuff. It gives it an odd mix of old and new, harsh and smooth. I'm also in a metal band called Seahag that plays traditional doom mixed with other styles, which makes me riding around on a light blue Moped seem kind of odd.
