I'm Roald, a 20yr old guy from the Netherlands. I've been driving, modifying, rebuilding and tuning mopeds since I was 15.

I started out with a 1981 Yamaha DT50MX (this is probably considered a motorcycle in the US, since it has 4 gears and more then 2bhp stock). After changing the stock exhaust for a Tecno exhaust it had a topspeed of 75km/h or 45mp/h. After that I changed the original front fork for a DTR fork, which had a disc brake and a 21" wheel. I sold this bike for way too little money, because I was tired of the clutch constantly breaking down.

I then bought a 1982 Honda MT-5 (also prob. considered a motorcycle in the US, it has 4 gears and 2bhp+ stock). It had a ported 70cc cilinder kit, 20mm Mikuni carburettor and a Luhao exhaust. Although it never runned well it did 85km/h or 53mp/h. It was probably a blown engine seal, but i never fixed it. I built in a MTX swingarm with mono-shock suspension for better handling. I sold it shortly after.

Then I got a 1980 Puch Maxi S in parts. I rebuild the complete thing with a self-ported (Altered timings) 70cc TCCD, 16mm Dell'orto SHA flat-slide carburettor and a Proma GP exhaust. It went like the wind. A good 80km/h or 50mp/h. I drove this bike for one summer and parted it out.

Now I've bought a 1976 Sparta Lucky. It is completely stock and completely busted. I'm having so much trouble with this thing that I decided to fix it one last time and sell it.

And I'm maintaining and driving my brothers 1981 Puch Maxi S Europa. It is completely stock except for the Proma GP exhaust. It does 60km/h or 37mp/h.

I'm also maintaining a Peugeot 104 from a friend of mine. We completely rebuilt it. It was a barn find we did on his grandma's farm. it used to belong to my friends mother. It wouldn't turn over, had flat tires, a lot of rust and some other minor problems. We scrapped the engine and replaced it by a 2002 Ramzey engine with kickstart and CDI ignition. We replaced all wear & tear parts (Seals, chain, sprockets, cables etc.) and replaced the original exhaust by a LeoVince. It drives like a charm now.

And I just bought a Puch Maxi. More on that later.
