My name is alex mingus. Recently, i bought a blue puch maxi S from my cousin for 150 dollars. it runs great. Some upgrades that i have done to it are ive bought a new air filter (stock) but made the hose bigger to allow more airflow, turn signals, a new jet that i bored out, new tires, switches that i bought from handy bikes, some new bulb, and just recently a bi turbo from mopedwarehouse.com... You could say that i dont know a whole lot about mopeds but ive got a pretty good start and im a fast learner. Al in all ive spent about 400 total in maintenance, etc. Im looking into buying some more upgrades to make it look and run better. Ive really gotten into it. Especially since i live in a small town in ohio there is a number of people that ride mopeds around. It also runs about 38 mph but hopefully that will improve. My bro who is younger and isnt leagle owns a jawa that we got for freee but it runs pretty good-especially considering that its been sitting untouched for about 14 yrs. O well thats just a little something about me that you might (probably not) want to know.
