I have been riding mopeds, motorcycles and scooters since I was maybe 11 or so. I am 46 now.
My first moped was a Mobylette, then a Maxi then several Pcuh Grand Prixs, Fantics Yamaha FS1E's, Garelli Tiger cross, Gilera Trail, Honda SS50 5 speed with 72cc conversion, a Tomos Targa Top Tank,Lots of others that I can't remember right now. The fastest stock 50cc I have ever had was a Fantic Super T which did about 55-60mph depending on conditions. It had a 20mm Del Orto, six gears and revved to 10,000rpm. The Garelli was also quite fast at 53mph, The Yamaha was the most reliable and pulled a good 50mph even two up.
The slowest was the Moby at about 25mph followed by the puch at 27mph and the Tomos at 33mph.
