My family had a Honda Express when I was a kid and after two motorcycles have come and gone, I decided I need to feel the wind on my face again. Figured it'd be great for running errands and cruising around the burbs.
What started as one moped has now turned in to an obsession. I now own more mopeds than my wife is comfortable with. I just enjoy getting what many consider throwaways in to running condition again.
After having gone through many brands of mopeds, I've settled on focusing on a few brands. I'm really enamored with any old Puch/Sears/Allstate stuff so right now I have a Compact, Sabre, Twingle 250, Mo-Ped, SR125 and a Campus 50. I'm itching for a Cheyenne. Old top-tanks Motobecanes are cool too but I'm not sure how much longer I can continue to get frustrated by working on them.
