Mopeds are a hobby of mine. I owned my first Hobbit in 1982--a red PA50II that went 30 mph. My sister and our friend each had one and the three of us rode all over rural North Dakota with them. I sold it before going off to college. It's 25 years later and I now have two yellow Hobbits-one in really good condition and one in "thrashed" condition (someone rode it hard and wrong, but I got it free and got it running after dropping the engine, cleaning the carb and flushing the tank out). I use AMSOil Saber 100:1 in both. I'll be scouring the forums for info. and recommendations (tires, my next moped, etc.). I do have a scooter...but ride the mopeds much more often!
