I just got my moped, a Big Cheif Motors Wasp (149cc, 250 lbs. dead weight) online from GS Motorsports. I'm 49. Fed up with 4 wheels and high gas prices. Have been researching getting a bike for about a year. I still haven't powered it up yet because I'm still putting it together.(i.e., putting on the front wheel, putting the battery together, getting TT&L, etc.).
As dangerous as Houston can be for ANYTHING on wheels, I'm exited about getting into it. Looking forward to learning more, and actually see myself owning several of these machines in the future.
I'm a musician/singer/songwriter with a CD out, and for a day job I sell wine for a retail liqour chain called Spec's.
I also tinker with computers and do websites and computer graphics art on the side to suplement my spending habits.
